The Kerala Research Programme on Local Level Development (KRPLLD) aims at promoting multi-disciplinary research and building research capability at the local level for sustained development, with active participation of local administrators, social activists, non-governmental organizations and concerned individuals.  KRPLLD, implemented with the institutional support of the Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Thiruvananthapuram, forms part of an international Country Research Programme (CRP) funded by the Netherlands Government through its Directorate General for International Co-operation.
